Debra graciously hosted us at her beautiful home, for the last activity day. The weather was very chilly but she had a large room which was converted into a chapel, heated by a a lovely wood fire. The Sisters from the Alliance put on a puppet play for the littlies which they really enjoyed. We’re mostly suburban families so it was refreshing to be surrounded by beautiful countryside and farm animals.
This week Rebecca has asked Father Dishan to visit the group. He will give a talk a on the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
Steph will run a craft with the little ones following the same theme.
Hope to see you there,

The bookmarks were a real hit. We had some amazing designs produced by dozens of creative young minds. Thanks to all the mothers who helped me on the day and a big thanks to Michelle who was tireless in her efforts with the little ones.
We will NOT be at the hall this week!
It’s time to take our activities on the road! Debra has kindly offered to host the next activity day at her place, which is on 10 gorgeous acres just outside Gisborne. She has cows, sheep, ferrets, dogs, chooks, a horse and a huge garage if it rains. It will be a wonderful day.
Where: If you were at the last activity day then you already have the address and directions from Debra. If not then just contact me, at firstname.lastname@example.org, and I’ll give you the directions. 🙂
When: 10am onwards
What: Bring a plate to share
I look forward to seeing you there.
