Activity Day, Friday November 29th

November 23, 2013 § Leave a comment

Hi everyone,

Stephanie did a marvelous job introducing us to cupcake decorating using buttercream and fondant icing.  Many of the colorful, delicious creations were gobbled up at morning tea but I hope some at least made it home to be appreciated by family.  It was a lovely day.

This week, Michelle has asked Father John Corrigan to visit the group.

Hope to see you there,

Activity Day, Friday June 28th

Hi everyone,

Debra graciously hosted us at her beautiful home, for the last activity day.  The weather was very chilly but she had a large room which was converted into a chapel, heated by a  a lovely wood fire. The Sisters from the Alliance put on a puppet play for the littlies which they really enjoyed. We’re mostly suburban families so it was refreshing to be surrounded by beautiful countryside and farm animals.

This week Rebecca has asked Father Dishan to visit the group. He will give a talk a on the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Fr. Dishan Candappa

Steph will run a craft with the little ones following the same theme.

Hope to see you there,

Christina

Hi everyone,

Many thanks to the American, Australian, Australian Aboriginal, Dutch, English, Greek, Indian, Italian, Maltese and Mexican representatives who made our multicultural day such a delicious success! The costumes, presentations and food were just marvelous.

It’s looking pretty wet outside so it’s just as well that this week, Michelle and I will be doing bookmarks for both the older and younger kids. Take care on the roads getting to the hall. I look forward to seeing you there, safe and sound.

Hope to see you there,

Christina
