Hi everyone,

This week  Georgette will be running a candle making day. What a lovely gift idea for Mothers day. Even though she has already taken orders,  she still has a few jars remaining, so contact her if you want to do the activity.

I can’t wait for this one.

Looking forward to seeing you there, God Bless,

Weaving and Loom Activity Day, Friday September 16th

Hi everyone,

Everyone really enjoyed the book character day.  I don’t think we’ll ever forget the tornado!  Thank you for such a fantastic effort from all.

Please bring any bits of yarn you have – it doesn’t matter what it is!

This Friday we will be making our own weaving looms from cardboard and learning how to weave on them. Kelly asks that we each bring whatever bits of yarn we have available. Everyone will get to take home their own loom; it sounds like we’re going to have lots of creative fun this week!

Looking forward to seeing you there, God Bless,

In 2015 the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus falls on June 12th.

The Sacred Heart of Jesus represents not simply His physical heart but His love for all mankind.

This Friday I will be running a craft activity for the younger children, and the older children will have the chance to make a consecration to the Sacred Heart before the Blessed Sacrament (weather permitting.)

God Bless,

Wool and fibre workshop activity day, Friday May 1st

April 25, 2015 § Leave a comment

Hi everyone,

Thanks, Tanya for organising the excursion to Altona Homestead, it was a lot of fun!

This week, Kelly will be giving a short workshop on wool and fibre followed by knitting lessons for those who would like to learn.

wool and needles

Please bring a pair of straight knitting needles and some yarn.  4mm, 4.5mm or 5mm needles are a good size for learners.  These can be obtained at an op shop, or even at Spotlight; they’re not expensive at all.

If you have spare needles, please bring them along for others to use.

God Bless,

Christina

Activity Day, Friday August 8th

Hi everyone,

The book day was so much fun and it provided real insights into our wonderful kids.  Thanks so much to everyone who participated, it was a lovely day.

This week, Stephanie is leading us in making  sacrifice beads.  If you search google or youtube you’ll find lots of information about this wonderful idea, which was much loved by St Therese when she was a young child.

Hi everyone,

A big thank you to Fr Justin Ford for the generosity he displayed in speaking to our children at the last activity day about the incredible events of Fatima.
