Hi Everyone,

Thanks to everyone who presented at the show and tell. As you can see from the photos, it was a great day with many engaging exhibits.

The brothers from the Alliance of the Two Hearts are visiting us this Friday to run some activities for the children.  Since we’re in March, the theme for the brothers visit will be St Joseph.

The Feast Day of St Joseph is March 19

Hi everyone,

Stephanie did a marvelous job introducing us to cupcake decorating using buttercream and fondant icing.  Many of the colorful, delicious creations were gobbled up at morning tea but I hope some at least made it home to be appreciated by family.  It was a lovely day.

This week, Michelle has asked Father John Corrigan to visit the group.

Hope to see you there,

Hi Everyone,

The last Activity Day was very enjoyable, a big thank you to Natalia for her efforts!

The next Homeschool Activity Day will be held this Friday, 17th February at 10.00am.

Paula has arranged for Fr. Nicholas Dillon to come and visit our activity group.  Fr. Dillon is the parish Priest of St Philip’s, Blackburn North.  He celebrates Mass in both the Novus Ordo and the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite. Father is also an accomplished organist and has played in several countries throughout the world.

Fr. Dillon has kindly offered to talk with the children about sacrifice, a timely topic as we approach the penitential season of Lent. Father has also offered to hear confession, and enrol our children in the brown scapula.  After the talk, the children will participate in a liturgical craft activity, meanwhile parents will have an opportunity to share morning tea and have a chat with him.

If you have any enquiries please email me at christinamck@gmail.com .

We hope to see you all this Friday.

God Bless,

Christina
